STEVAL-IHM037V1 Ceiling fan remote control unit based on the STM8L101F2
The STEVAL-IHM037V1 demonstration board implements the speed control of an induction motor-based ceiling fan using the remote control. Traditionally, the fan speed is controlled using a Triac-based regulator which must be operated manually.
The STEVAL-IHM037V1 demonstration board replaces the manual regulator with a remote control-based solution. Two pushbuttons have also been provided to increase or decrease the fan speed. The speed is controlled by controlling the firing angle of a Triac (T410x) with the STM8S003x microcontroller
