ST6产品家族面向中低端8位嵌入式控制应用,这些应用通常受限于两个矛盾的要求:获得更高的抗干扰性能和进一步降低系统的整体成本。
从设计到量产

为了满足ST6 客户的需求,ST提供不同类型的程序存储器:为实现成本最优化的只读存储器(ROM)、为实现灵活性并允许开发人员便捷修改代码的OTP和EPROM。一次性可编程(OTP)器件的优势在于,开发人员可以便捷地更新应用代码。使用OTP编程能够让客户及时交货,简化采购流程,并且优化零部件库存。客户还可以选择FASTROM (由ST工厂完成客户化OTP编程),从而进一步缩短交货周期,简化物流工作。

ST6系列产品提供丰富的外设和存储器容量(包括数据EEPROM)配置以供选择,更有从16到100管脚的封装选择。这使得客户能够轻松找到与其成本目标匹配的器件。ST6系列基于标准8位 CPU内核,提供强大的外设阵容。ST6系列提供嵌入式控制所需要的所有主要功能: RC振荡器、32kHz 内部振荡器、安全上电以及用于直接驱动LED和TRIAC的大电流缓冲器 (可直接进行交流过零检测)、安全振荡器、8位ADC、数据EEPROM、LCD 驱动器、 SPI、UART、自动重载定时器……同时,每个型号又提供不同的外设组合,用户只需选择自己应用所需功能的外设单元。这样客户只需支付真正需要的硬件成本。
