The NCP12510B65GEVB demonstration board is a flyback topology switched-mode power supply for demonstration of high efficiency and low no-load input power consumption of the power supply controlled by the NCP12510 controller. Demonstration board works in input voltage range from 90 Vac to 265 Vac and provides the output voltage 19 V up to 3.5 A output current. The controller NCP12510B is highly integrated current mode PWM controller with auto-recovery OCP protection. The switching frequency of the controller is 65 kHz for nominal output power. When the output power is decreasing, the controller automatically fold backs its switching frequency to the minimum 26 kHz and initiated the operation in skip mode for low no-load input power consumption. Controller is equipped by a lot of protections (OCP, OVP, OTP, OPP) for ensure the safety operation of the power supply. Moreover, the high robustness and high ESD capability of the NCP12510 controller contributes to the safety operation of the power supply.
