Solar sensor detects amount of solar irradiation acting on the vehicle and allows climate control system to compute and compensate thermal loads inside the passenger compartment for occupant comfort. Ambient light sensor measures ambient light conditions as seen by the human eye and allow vehicle body lightning system automatically control Interior or Exterior lightning features such as Daylight Running Lights or automatic dimming of instrument panel lighting.
