TLE4954CB E2

The TLE4954CB detects the motion of ferromagnetic structures by measuring the change of differential flux density, which are either generated by a moving magnetic encoder or a moving ferromagnetic gear structure (e.g. gear wheel) within a magnetic back bias field. The TLE4954CB has a high sensitivity and very precise switching behaviour over a wide frequency range, which allows the sensor to measure the differential flux density with excellent accuracy over a large speed range. The TLE4954CB is designed to have a fast power up time paired with a selfcalibration phase and a frequent recalibration function in run mode based on Infineon’s visible adaptive hysteresis concept, which ensures optimal switching performance. Additionally, TLE4954CB provides a new, outstanding vibration suppression function by using a smart algorithm to ensure that no pulses are missed even under sever conditions like air gap jumps, high rotational or air gap vibration. The TLE4954CB is also specially design for a precise zero-Hertz measurement capability, which is of high benefit in new automotive applications like parking brake, hill holder or hill start assist. Furthermore TLE4954CB detects the the rotation direction and offers several protocol options, which allow to choose the best system solution for transmitting speed and direction information. The interface itself is a standard 2-wire current interface.

The TLE4954C-family is available in a module style package with integrated EMC capacitor.
