CD1030: 33 channel Multiple Switch Detection Interface with Programmable Current
The CD1030 is a multiple switch detection interface (MSDI) designed to detect the closing and opening of up to 33 switch contacts. The switch status, either open or closed, is transferred to the microprocessor through a SPI in automotive environments.

- Fully functional operation 4.5V ≤ VBATP ≤ 36V
- Full parametric operation 6.0V ≤ VBATP ≤ 28V
- Operating switch input voltage range from -1.0V to 36V
- 12 programmable inputs (switches to battery or ground)
- 21 switch-to-ground inputs
- Selectable wetting current (2.0, 6.0, 8.0, 10, 12, 14, 16, or 20mA)
- Interfaces directly to an MCU using 3.3V/5.0V SPI protocol
- Selectable wake-up on change of state
- Typical standby current IBATP = 50uA and IDDQ = 10uA
- Active interrupt (INT_B) on switch state change
- Integrated battery and temperature sensing
