NCP398: USB Type-C VCONN Overvoltage protection IC
The NCP398 is an overvoltage protection device that protects VCONN against high speed overvoltage coming from the Vbus cable. The part is enabled through the ENB pin. NCP398 is proposed in UDFN and WLCSP packages.
Features- Over-voltage Protection Up to + 28V
- On-chip low Rdson NMOS transistors: Typical 190 mΩ
- Under-voltage Lockout (UVLO)
- Over-voltage Lockout (OVLO)
- Shutdown ENB Input.
- Output discharge path
