For microcomputers that generally have restrictions on the order in which multiple voltages are turned on, complex circuit design was needed for controlling the order of rise and fall between power supplies. The RNA50C27 for SH microcontrollers was created to simplify this. In addition, a reset IC containing two circuits, the RNA52A10, can use an external resistor to set detection voltage, which is something that could not be done with previous CMOS products. It can also combine with another IC to perform sequence control of three power supplies.
