The H8S/2357 and H8S/2398 groups achieve high-speed operation (20 MHz/5 V). Incorporating rich peripherals enables data transfer with less CPU load, directly connecting to the 16 M DRAM. They enable smooth replacement due to pin compatibility with the H8S/2355 and 2350 groups. (The H8S/2398 group incorporates the internal voltage drop pin VCL.) The 120-pin and 128-pin packages are available.
