IE850 (formerly IECUBE2)

The name of the IECUBE2 full-spec emulator supporting the V850 family of MCUs has been changed to IE850 on October 1, 2014 with the start of support for the RH850 family.
The product name of the main unit is still QB-V850E2 as before. The functionality is also the same as before. However, it is necessary to rewrite the control program and FPGA data when debugging systems that include MCUs of the RH850 family. Click here for the details.

The product is used by combining the main IE850 part and a POD section. By rearranging the pods, products of each series of RH850 and V850E2M microcontrollers can be supported.

IE850 emulator support 9M bytes 512K frame trace, in addition, with optional QB-V850E2-SP Note1 2.25G bytes 128M frame trace can be supported.
Renesas IDE can realize various analysis features such as percentage of functions executed, Call relationship visualization and graphical display of variables.

Design
Sophisticated body design like the other Renesas on-chip debuggng emulator E1, E20, MINICUBE2. An emulation pod which can be installed in the main unit saves space.

Debugging Functions
IE850 is equipped with a rich variety of debugging functions as an in-circuit emulator. Not only basic functions such as step execution, breaks and RAM monitoring, but also time measurement, trace and coverage functions are supported for more efficient system development.

Trace Capacity
IE850 emulator support 9M bytes 512K frame trace, in addition, with optional QB-V850E2-SP Note1 128M frame trace can be supported.
By this trace capacity Renesas IDE can realize various analysis features such as percentage of functions executed, call relationship visualization and graphical display of variables.

Note:

1：This option product cannot be used by the Integrated Development Environment by RENESAS, and it can be used by Integrated Development Environment Multi by U.S. Green Hills Software.
Please make sure the supported version of debugger software.
