ASC8848AET Advanced 720p/45 fps (42 Mpx/sec) High Profile H.264 processor

The ASC8848A advanced video processor is a single chip full HD video processor designed for network security and surveillance camera applications. The chip integrates a powerful ARM926EJ processor and NXPs high performance hardware video processing accelerators supporting high profile H.264 profile encoding for 1 Mpix resolution at 45 frames per second (720p/45fps), or any other (multi-stream) combination of image resolution and frame-rate covered by the 42 Mpix/sec hardware compression engine. The device also supports MJPEG encoding in parallel to the H.264 encoding
