ASC8848ET 720p/45 fps (40 Mpx/sec) High Profile H.264 processor

The ASC8848ET video processor is a single chip Full HD video processor designed for network security and surveillance camera applications. The chip integrates a powerfull ARM926EJ processor and NXPs high performance hardware video processing accelerators supporting high profile H.264 encoding for 1 Mpix resolution at 45 frames per second (720 p / 45 fps), or any other (multistream) combination of image resolution and framerate covered by the 42 Mpix/sec hardware compression engine. The device also supports MJPEG encoding in parallel to the H.264 encoding
