LM_FTDI_DRIVER 描述

LMI FTDI driver

Customers with previous installations of the Stellaris FTDI driver may experience trouble when installing newer (2.02.04 and later) versions of the driver. The problem only seems to affect users of Windows XP, and not Windows Vista.

The workaround involves replacing the FTDIUN2K.INI file in C:/Windows/system32 with the file located below (see Support Software section).

If you would like to manually edit the file, the contents should look like this:

[Uninstall]
Device=VID_0403&PID_6001,VID_0403&PID_6010,VID_0403&PID_BCD8,VID_0403&PID_BCD9
Converter=FTDIBUS
Serial=FTSER2K
InfFiles=FTDIBUS,FTDIPORT
Key=FTDICOMM

The file is read-only by default, so the properties must be adjusted accordingly. After replacing the file, run the FTClean utility, which is provided by FTDI. The Product ID (PID) field in the FTClean application should be populated with the value "BCD9" if your previous driver installation was for a Stellaris evaluation board, and "BCD8" if it was for a Stellaris development board. After the application finishes removing the drivers, you can proceed to install the new drivers.

FTClean can be downloaded from the FTDI website.
