The UCC5638 is a high performance, 15 line, multimode terminator for a typical 27-line SCSI bus. It provides the lowest possible channel capacitance (3pF). Designed for 3.3V or 5V systems, its operating range is 2.7V - 5.25V. The UCC5638EVM demo board allows comparison of the Texas Instruments termination to drive or controller termination. With an oscilloscope, it demonstrates how Texas Instruments termination reduces or eliminates impedance-mismatch problems on the bus.
