The TriQuint TQM7M9070, a member of the TRIUMF Module™ product family, offers 3G designers a streamlined WCDMA power amplifier RF footprint through support for multiple WCDMA bands in one module. In addition to reducing the component count, the TQM7M9070 provides WCDMA / HSUPA / HSPA+ modulation over multiple bands while enabling outstanding power added efficiency (PAE) without requiring a DC to DC converter. The power amplifier offers a 2 bit control feature: 1 bit for LPM or HPM and 1 bit for Pout adjust to optimize band performance. Its RF performance meets the stringent linearity requirements for multi-mode operation in next generation WCDMA / HSUPA / HSPA+ programs. TriQuint's TQM7M9070 fully matched broadband power amplifier supports WCDMA high bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 9 & 10 and WCDMA low bands 5, 6 & 8. Its scalability from dual-band to penta-band applications addresses the demand for mid to high-end feature and smart phones. Enabled by TriQuint's CuFlip™ technology, this broadband power amplifier module inherently manages heat in a remarkably small form factor of 5 x 4 x 0.9 mm. The TQM7M9070 is designed on TriQuint's GaAs BiHEMT technology with CuFlip® assembly, offering state of the art reliability, temperature stability and ruggedness.
