ADSP-BF518F16 集成16 MB FLASH存储器并支持IEEE-1588的BLACKFIN嵌入式处理器

ADSP-BF512、ADSP-BF514/ADSP-BF514F16、ADSP-BF516、ADSP-BF518/ADSP-BF518F16处理器属于Blackfin®系列产品,采用ADI公司/Intel公司的微信号架构(MSA)。 Blackfin处理器将先进的双MAC信号处理引擎、干净且正交的RISC式微处理器指令集的优势和单指令、多数据流(SIMD)多媒体能力结合为一个指令集架构。 便携式低功耗架构 Blackfin处理器提供世界一流的电源管理和性能。 它们采用低功耗和低电压设计,片内集成动态电源管理,能够改变工作电压和频率,从而显著降低整体功耗。 与仅能改变工作频率的方法相比,这种方法能够大幅降低功耗, 延长便携式设备的电池续航时间。

ADSP-BF518F16产品可代替现已停产的ADSP-BF51xF产品。 这些处理器与其它Blackfin处理器完全代码兼容。

Blackfin处理器集成了许多业界领先的系统外设和丰富的存储器,在一个集成封装中提供RISC式编程能力、多媒体支持和先进的信号处理,堪称新一代应用的首选平台。

计算寄存器文件包含8个32位寄存器。 对16位操作数数据执行运算时,寄存器文件作为16个独立的16位寄存器工作。 用于运算的所有操作数都来自多端口寄存器文件和指令常数字段。

每个MAC在每个周期可以执行一个16位乘16位乘法,结果累加到40位累加器中。 支持带符号和无符号格式、舍入以及饱和。

ALU用于对16位或32位数据执行传统的算术和逻辑运算。 此外,它还包括许多特殊指令,以便加速多种信号处理任务的执行。 特殊指令包括字段提取和二进制位个数统计等位操作、模232乘法、除法原语、饱和与舍入、符号/指数检测。 视频指令集包括字节对齐和打包操作、16位和8位截除加法、8位平均操作、8位减法/绝对值/累加(SAA)操作。 此外还提供比较/选择和矢量搜索指令。
