NCP1410GEVB:250mA Sync-Rect PFM Step-Up dc-dc Converter with Low-Battery Detector Evaluation Board

NCP1410 is a monolithic micropower high frequency Boost (step-up) voltage switching converter IC specially designed for battery operated hand-held electronic products with up to 250 mA loading. The output voltage can be adjusted between 1.5-5.5 V. The device integrates a Synchronous Rectifier for improving efficiency as well as eliminating the external Schottky Diode. In addition the device contains a low battery detect circuit. The demo board has been optimized for operation from 2 AA battery cells (1.8-3.0 V) and has jumpers to select between an output voltage of 3.3 or 5.0 V. The low battery detector circuit is set for a nominal detect voltage of 2.0 V.
