ST7系列单片机的内核是一个8位CPU,CPU中具有6个内部寄存器。ST7系列单片机内部集成低电压检测器(LVD)、看门狗、高抗干扰的电磁兼容电路。通过编程可实现读/写保护、多种低功耗模式等,片上外设包括10位多通道A/D转换器、SCI、SPI、I²C、USB和CAN接口,还有各种8位和16位带PWM功能的定时器。
它的复位和时钟电路可以不用任何外部组件,内部的低电压检测器和一个完整的1% RC振荡器就能确保充分安全地启动单片机工作,从而是其应用成本降至最低。
